The Annual Dinner will be held at The Princes Arms Hotel, Trefriw. Saturday 27th January 2024. Everyone is welcome and it is a great opportunity to meet other members and get some time in the hills as well as enjoying the meal and guest speaker.

The guest speaker will be Hannah Engelkamp. Hannah is a travel writer and editor who took leave of her senses, bought a donkey and 29 maps, and set off to walk the 1000-mile circumference of Wales. The journey took nearly six months, twice her original estimate, and by the end she and the donkey – the eccentric and handsome Chico – were almost friends. The story of their awkward relationship against the beautiful backdrop of their home country is amusingly inept, sometimes quite alarming, and ultimately very inspiring.
Hannah was one of the Guardian’s 10 most inspiring female adventurers, and has given talks at the Royal Geographic Society, Hay Festival, The Women’s Adventure Expo, The Adventure Travel Film Festival, Night of Adventure events, and dozens more literary festivals and private events.
